International award-winning Film Director and Exec.Producer, Fatima Lianes began her career as a journalist and news producer in 1999.

For years she traveled the world covering international breaking news for worldwide TV Channels.

This is when she realized she had the need to tell stories in a different way.

In 2005, she carried out Documentary Studies at EICTV in Cuba and later Cinema Studies in ESCAC, Spain. In 2007, she shot her first documentary series in 20 countries.

After her experience as a documentary director, she joined The Mediapro Studios as Director of Content. In 2015 she became Head of Content in Asia focusing in the creation of dramas, tv shows and documentaries for the South East Asian market and the global audience.

In 2018, she leaves Mediapro to focus on directing and creates her own brand, Wild Mind Films, a media house and philanthropic platform dedicated to create and produce films that brings social awareness and engages audiences to participate in positive social change.

As director, she focuses on combining the power of an incredible visual narrative and a good story to create consciousness around the most pressing global issues of our time.

LOS 8 DE IRAK

Los 8 de Irak - Movistar Plus+ in collaboration with 100 Balas (The Mediapro Studio) - is a non-fiction series conceived as a tribute to the agents of the Spanish intelligence service who were victims of an ambush on November 29, 2003 in Iraq.

Nineteen years later, those who lived through those days and worked alongside the agents remember and analyze the worst attack suffered by the Spanish intelligence service.

A forgotten story that deserved to be rescued to pay tribute to these agents who gave everything to learn the truth.
